- A full cup red lentils
- (Sunflower) oil
- Pinch of salt
Preparation:
Rinse the lentils, skim
off and rinse again ones or twice. Afterwards let the lentils soak in
cold water for 15 to 20 min. Meanwhile wash and clean the vegetables
and cut them into pieces. Put a little oil in a pot, sauté the
veggies in it and let simmer for + - 15 min. Drain the lentils and pour them with the vegetables in the pot. Pour enough clean water to cover everything. Bring to the boil, put the lid on the pot and
let simmer for + - 20 min. Finally add salt. Let the water
evaporated, but watch out, during the cooking, that it will not get to dry.
TIP:
You can also use green lentils, but those you have to first soak for a night (again pour out the soaking water.).
