Belgian BREAD PUDDING from the old days.

Belgian Grandmothers BREAD PUDDING.

You need:
- 300 gr. old bread (white or light brown), without of the crusts
- 1/2 l. milk
- 100 gr. raisins
- 1 vanilla flower
- 100 gr. caster sugar
- 5 eggs, beaten
- a pot or saucepan (to heat the milk in)
- a baking tin
- a fork
- a bowl
- an awl

Before i added the mellted cocolate, placed on the cooling rack (not yet with a receptable under).

afterwards with the chocolate layer.

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Put the bread (crusts removed !) in a bowl. Melt the sugar along with the milk in a saucepan or pot. Add the milk-sugar mixture with the bread, in the bowl. Mash with a fork until you have a thick paste. Now stir in the beaten eggs, vanilla flower and raisins. Put your dough in the baking tin and place in the preheated oven. Bake for + - 40 min. at 180 ° C. Let it cool. Extremely easy and tasty. To check if your bread pudding is well cooked you insert an awl. If that feels dry, the bread pudding ready.
TIP:
Sometimes I melt a little chocolate a bain-marie, then I first place the bread pudding on a cooling rack (with a receptacle under) and pour the mellted chocolate over the bread pudding. That layer of chocolate makes it extra deliciousAnd now ..... ATTACK !!!!!

Eat them,
