Let's Wok Some EARTH-PEAR.


EARTH-PEAR In The Wok.
(earth-pear: see also recipe Dec 12. 2012)


You need:
- 10 earth-pears, peeled
- 2 shallots, washed and chopped
- 1/2 chilli, deseeded and chopped
- The juice of 1 lime
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 tbsp. turmeric
- Oil (eg: coconut oil)
- Salt & pepper
- a wok


Preparation: 
Cut the peeled earth-pear in thin chips. Preheat the (coconut) oil in the wok and add the chopped shallot and garlic. Once they are fried, add the pear-earth and the chilli and season with pepper and salt. Stir well and cook for 3 min. on high heat. Put at the end the lime juice and turmeric. Eat it with rice or noodles.
