CHEESE crisps snack.

Hey my Sweetypies, do you expect visit this weekend ??
A good tip is, make sure you ALWAYS have puff pastry in the house, this is so extremely versatile and handy, especially in such cases. It makes a wizard of you   ;-)
This is one of those easy, quick and tasty snack that you can make with it it, and you can also make it in advance !!

CHEESE crisps.

You need:
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 4 sundried tomatoes, chopped
- 20 gr. Parmesan, grated
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- Basil (if you have fresh basil: washed and chopped)
- 1/2 onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- Baking sheet
- a kitchen brush

Preparation:
Roll the puff pastry open. Sprinkle some finely diced onion and sundried tomato pieces over the puff, but make sure the edge of your puff remains free. Also sprinkle the grated Parmesan, basil and chili powder over it. Lubricate the edge of the pastry with some beaten egg. Now roll the pastry in a long sausage. The egg mixture ensures that the edges adhere to each other. Put the role in the refrigerator for a while, to firm. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Place the roll on a baking sheet and brush the top with the rest of the egg mixture. Cut the roll into equal pieces of + - 2 to 3 cm. thickness. Put them, slightly apart, on a baking sheet so they will not  stick together during baking. Put in the oven and bake the crisps for +- 20 min, when they are golden brown, they are ready.
TIP:
You can experiment and 'play' with the pastry in so many ways, give it your own personal twist, just enjoy !

Eat them,
The Veggie Lady
